Hastings Deering's Data Team identified a need to strengthen the presentation and facilitation capabilities of its technical professionals. While these experts excelled in their fields, many lacked confidence and experience in presenting ideas or leading group discussions. Common concerns included being “put on the spot,” struggling to simplify complex content, and managing group dynamics effectively.
Technical staff often found it difficult to communicate their expertise in a structured, engaging way. Many had limited experience speaking in front of groups or facilitating interactive sessions. This gap impacted their ability to share knowledge, collaborate, and lead within the organisation.
A tailored two-day, face-to-face workshop was delivered to address these challenges. The program focused on:
